    Salt and pepper squid with BiGG Five Spice

    INGREDIENTS

    BiGG Five Spice Seasoning
    350g squid
    1 chilli for garnish
    1 spring onion for garnish

    Batter
    30g tapioca starch
    1 egg

    METHOD

    1. Finely slice your chilli and spring onion and set aside.

    2. Clean and cut squid into strips placed into a bowl.

    3. Whisk the egg and add it to your bowl of squid, then add the starch and mix well.

    4. Deep Fry the squid for 2-3 minutes until very crispy.

    5. Pile up the squid on a plate, garnish with the chilli, spring onion and sprinkle BiGG Five Spice over the top.
